A Cup of Coffee
A Cup of Coffee
That monsoon’s feel around ,
Dewdrops tickling the ground,In my lonely room around.
There my bed rests in the corner,
A bug entering through my keyhole appears to be a foreigner,Reminds me of the coffee seed,
Those delicious thoughts yet to be freed,
I thus now uplift my taste’s greed.
Freezing winds blowing outside,
Fragrance of wet, fertile soil, side by side.
I go towards my kitchen,
Take an exquisite cup, add some sugar,
And pour the delicacy of milk in it,
Take a spoonful of coffee and grind it altogether,
The froth making it all better.
Nows the time to adorn my cup,
Stir the froth and make some design,
Add the sparking sprinkles to make it shine.
Back in my cosy room,
The rain making the coloured flowers bloom,
I take off and land on my couch and gaze the beauty outside,
How nicely the cool breeze aloft and make the cute raindrops glide.
The coffee’s ready to be enjoyed,
My bread toast already fried,
This season’s best I surely abide.
At one sip of my coffee, the sky thunders
With one crunch of my toast the earth shudders
And unleashes a beast with blasts of coffee flavours.
Suddenly, the rain stops to cascade, and my mind’s eye shatters.
With the help of rain, the position of trees betters,
While enjoying my coffee, for my parents and friends abroad;
Wrote the beautiful, lovely letters.
You live, I live, we live
But at last, it is the nature of all that matters.
